Katy Perry, born Katherine Elizabeth Hudson (now Katherine Perry) October 25, 1984 in Santa Barbara, California, United States, is a singer-songwriter and occasional actress American. She is best known for two of its singles, Ur So Gay in 2007, and I Kissed A Girl which in 2008 topped the Billboard Hot 100, the Pop 100, the Canadian Hot 100, and the Australian ARIA Charts. The single reached the 1st place in the Worldwide Charts. His debut album One of the Boys reached the 9th place in the Billboard 200. Katy Perry was born in Santa Barbara, California.

Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson was born on 25 October 1984 at Santa Barbara in California, a couple of pastors: Mary (nee Perry), an evangelist original Portuguese who grew up in Southern California and had a "tumultuous first marriage in Zimbabwe". Second child of the family, she has an older sister, Angela, and a younger brother, David. His mother is the niece of writer Eleanor Perry and director Frank Perry .
